Line - Poetry Social Platform
A mobile-first social platform built exclusively for poets and creative writers. Publish verses, follow other poets, like and comment with optimistic UI, send 1:1 DMs, organize work into collections, and discover poetry through a personalized feed. Runs entirely on Firestore - messages, unread counts, and collection totals all move through atomic batched writes, with no custom server.

What I Built
Wrote the Firestore service layer - users, posts, collections, messages, notifications - so the app needs no backend of its own.
Put every multi-document mutation on
writeBatch: adding a poem to a collection, delivering a DM, moving unread counts. A partial write can't leave the counters disagreeing with the data.Wrote 300 lines of Firestore security rules that gate reads and writes on the caller's own uid, and pin follower counts to zero on profile creation so they can't be seeded with a fake number.
Built the login, post detail, explore, profile, thread, and collection screens - 2,800 lines of the app's actual surface.
